As the Indian cricket team secured its place in the World Cup semi-finals, members of the film fraternity like Rishi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Sushant Singh Rajput lauded the victory.
 
India beat Bangladesh by 109 runs in Melbourne on Thursday. Defending champions India will now play the semi-final against the winners of the Australia vs Pakistan quarter-final.
