  • Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan test positive for COVID-19

After sharing the news on Twitter that Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has COVID-19 and his son Abhishek Bachchan has also tested positive Covid-19, now the Bachan Khandan's Bahu Aishwarya Rai and the family's grandaughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for the virus. Bachchan senior's wife Jaya, their daughter, Shweta Nanda and her two kids have all tested negative for the coronavirus. While the father and son were admitted to Nanavati Hospital on Saturday after showing mild symptoms, Aishwarya and Aaradhya are asymptomatic and are set to remain in home isolation and quarantine at home.

A Nanavati hospital official said, “Both (Amitabh and Abhishek) are stable and have mild symptoms. Abhishek Bachchan may soon be advised home isolation and discharged.” All four bungalows of the Bachchan family – Jalsa, Janak, Pratiksha and Vatsa – are being sanitzed and are sealed off and have been labeled as containment zones. All staffers in the four bungalows underwent thermal screening. Thirty were identified as high-risk contacts and their samples collected for tests.

Abhishek Bachchan broke the news of his wife and daughter testing positive via twitter. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home.

After that tweet he also followed with another tweet on his own condition and on his dad's condition.

Anupam Kher also shared a video the other day letting everyone know that some of his family members have tested positive even though he is safe.
