Big Boss 9 Winner Prince Narula Confirms He Is Dating Nora Fatehi

Darpan News Desk IANS, 24 Jan, 2016 12:11 PM
  • Big Boss 9 Winner Prince Narula Confirms He Is Dating Nora Fatehi
“Bigg Boss Nau” winner Prince Narula has confirmed he is seeing his co-contestant, Moroccan beauty Nora Fatehi.

Prince, who first proposed to Nora on the show, said he wants to take their relationship ahead after coming out of the “Bigg Boss” house.

“I am with Nora. We are dating each other and trying to know each other more… She is similar to me and she came on the show at a time when I was feeling low. She boosted my confidence and supported me. In such a house, when someone is nice to you, it is easy to get attracted,” Prince told PTI after his win.

“I said ‘I love you’ to her, which meant I love the person she is. I also told her in private that unlike other reality show couples, I want to carry our relationship even outside the house. So, now we are spending time with each other and we are seeing how good we are for each other.”

Known for his closeness with different girls on youth-based show “Splitsvilla”, the young star, before Nora, proposed to actress Yuvika Choudhary on “Bigg Boss”.

Many termed it a gimmick by him to survive on the show but Prince insisted his feelings for her were “genuine”.

“I had seen relationships in my previous show (‘Splitsvilla’), so, I was clear I won’t make any on ‘Bigg Boss’ because such relations don’t last. But, I liked Yuvika and also told her about my feelings.

“It was one sided as she was sure she was not ready then. Just three days after my feelings for her developed, she got eliminated. So, it did not materialise into anything.

Today we are great friends.” Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Prince had claimed he wanted to be the reality show ‘king’ by winning the popular show. Now that he has emerged as the winner, the star wants to try his hand at fiction.

'BIGG BOSS NAU' WINNER PRINCE TO NOW EXPLORE FICTION SPACE

The 'prince' of TV reality shows, Prince Narula, who won "Bigg Boss Nau" -- his third victory after "MTV Roadies X2" and "MTV Splitsvilla 8" in the genre -- has his eyes set on acting in fiction TV shows and films. He says he already has two shows in his kitty.

Prince was announced the winner of "Bigg Boss Nau" on Saturday night.

"After having a successful run in reality shows, next I want to enter the fiction genre. I want to act in films and TV. Before coming to 'Bigg Boss', I was going through the script of two new shows," Prince told IANS after winning the show.

"I had also signed them, but because of 'Bigg Boss' I was not able to start shooting for them. So, now soon I'll start working on them," he said.

"I can't reveal much about the two shows. But yes they are fictional ones and will show me as an actor for the first time onscreen. Their shooting will begin soon," he added.

He also wants to work in films even though he he hasn’t received any film offers yet.

“Working in films has been my dream. I would love to be a part of Bollywood. I consider Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar as my acting idols. And through ‘Bigg Boss Nau’, I got to meet all three of them,” the 25-year-old said.

While Salman was the "Bigg Boss Nau" host, Shah Rukh and Akshay came to promote their films on the show, where the Chandigarh-based Prince managed to survive through the controversies, tasks, restrictions, fights, melodrama, et al.

The Colors' show saw a mixed bunch of celebrities were locked inside an isolated house without any connect with the outside world. To add to their grievance was 24X7 camera surveillance, and a limited supply of amenities.

Asked about his journey in 'house', Prince said: “It was great. I can’t explain in words how I’m feeling after winning the show. I got to learn a lot of things. Though winning is not a new thing as I have won two other shows earlier, but this one was really special.

“I got to make a lot of friends like Rishabh Sinha. But I feel that Mandana Karim was the most fake person in the show. I tried being good with her but it didn’t work out well. Nonetheless, we all had great fun.”

For the finale, Prince was in competition with Mandana, Rishabh Sinha and Rochelle Rao. As the winner, he has taken home a cash prize.

What does he plan to do with the winning amount?

Prince said: “I have won Rs.35 lakh, out of which I have donated Rs.500,000 to Salman sir’s Being Human. The rest I’ll give to my father and let him decide what he wants to do with the money.”

A viewer's favourite since the first episode, Prince remained in the limelight throughout the ninth season of the show.

Be it his aggressive behaviour or competitive nature, Prince was nominated for eviction for the least number of times and kept viewers engaged and entertained.

“I performed almost every task. I just tried to be genuine. Also my ‘Roadies’ experience helped me in many tasks,” Prince said.

“Bigg Boss Nau” also featured celebrities like Rimi Sen, Keith Sequeira, Priya Malik, Suyyash Rai, Gizele Thakral, Aman Verma and Roopal Tyagi.

The show will be replaced by “Krishnadasi”, which will go on air on Monday.
