Big B Shakes Leg With Jeetendra On TV Show

Darpan News Desk IANS, 17 Nov, 2015 10:42 AM
It was like a reunion of Bollywood's stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan and Jeetendra on the small screen when the latter paid a surprise visit to Big B during the shooting of TV show “Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi”.

The cine icons also broke into an impromptu gig on the iconic song “Taaki o taaki”.

Jeetendra, who has shared screen space with Amitabh in “Gehri Chaal” in 1973, says he was “touched” by one of the stories narrated on the Star Plus show, that he was propelled to personally come and acknowledge it.

“It is very overwhelming to see that such people who do good deeds out of the goodness of their heart actually exist. I am really touched," Jeetendra said in a statement.

"Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi" celebrates ordinary people's kindness towards society and showcases the journey of people who battled all odds to help society improve and worked as an inspiration for others to change their outlook.

According to a source, Vijay Thakur from Mumbai is one of them and he was supposed to be surprised and taken to Jeetendra's house. But after hearing his story, Jeetendra was so touched that he thought of surprising him instead and came on the set of the show.

“Jeetendra was very emotional and met Big B and Vijay, and spent some quality time with them. Vijay was overwhelmed by the superstar's gesture since he is a huge fan,” the source said.
