Remembering Smita Patil on her 31st death anniversary, megastar Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic.

 

Taking to Twitter, senior Bachchan, who has had fond professional association with actress Patil, shared that the actress had a bad dream about him a day before he met with a major accident on the sets of his 1983 hit 'Coolie'.

 

He tweeted, "She [Smita Patil] had a premonition of my Coolie accident a night before it happened .. called and told me of it".

 
 

The 75-year-old actor suffered a near-fatal accident while shooting an action scene for the Manmohan Desai directorial in Bangalore in 1982 and it took him several months to fully recover.

 

The 'PINK' star worked with Patil in numerous films like 'Shakti' and 'NamakHalaal'.

 

Patil, who appeared in over 80 Hindi and Marathi films in a career that spanned just over a decade, received two National Film Awards and a Filmfare Award. She was also the recipient of the Padma Shri.
