Big B meets PM Modi in capital

IANS, 20 Dec, 2014 02:25 PM
  • Big B meets PM Modi in capital
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here Saturday.

"Shri Amitabh Bachchan met the Prime Minister," read a post on the Twitter handle @PMOIndia, along with a photograph of the two of them.

Amitabh is the brand ambassador of Gujarat, the state which Modi represented as Chief Minister earlier.

For the meeting Saturday, both Modi and Big B were dressed in crisp white kurta-pyjamas and wrapped themselves in shawls to beat the winter chill that has engulfed the capital.

Later, upon getting back to Mumbai, Amitabh, 72, tweeted: "Cold Delhi...warm Mumbai...happy home...soon happier -- grandchildren coming in from the cold to be with their cousin in the warm."
