Big B Launches Shatrughan Singha's Biography

Darpan News Desk IANS, 19 Feb, 2016 02:41 PM
  • Big B Launches Shatrughan Singha's Biography
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Friday launched the biography of his Bollywood colleague Shatrughan Singha, written by columnist, critic and author Bharathi S Pradhan.

One of the highlights of the evening was the reading of an excerpt from "Anything But Khamosh: The Shatrughan Sinha Biography" by Shatrughan's daughter Sonakshi Sinha. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yashwant Sinha was also present along with filmmaker Subhash Ghai.

Pradhan said: "With 'Anything But Khamosh', Om Books International, Shatrughan Sinha and I have truly raised the bar for a page-turning honest read. The book launch was befitting of the most honest biography of India. Celebrity-studded, exciting, engrossing, dramatic and forthright."

The 338-page book retraces the hurrahs and heartaches of India's most popular "Bihari Babu" and is based on seven years of research, 37 interviews and over 200 hours of taped conversations, says the author.
