Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has scored a fan following of 26 million on the micro-blogging platform Twitter.
 
The 74-year-old, who has given hits like "Sholay", "Deewar", "Black" and "Piku", is ahead of actors Shah Rukh Khan (24.2 million), Salman Khan (22.1 million), Aamir Khan (20.4 million), Priyanka Chopra (16.9 million) and Deepika Padukone (17.9 million).
 
The "Wazir" star is just behind Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has 28.7 million Twitter followers.
 
Amitabh on Tuesday night expressed his excitement over getting fan following of 26 million.
 
"And it has arrived the magical figure of 26 million followers! Thank you Twitter for my intolerance," Amitabh tweeted.
