Be gracious in victory, Vishal Dadlani tells AAP

Darpan News Desk IANS, 09 Feb, 2015 01:50 PM
  • Be gracious in victory, Vishal Dadlani tells AAP
Music composer Vishal Dadlani, a known AAP supporter, said Monday that party supporters must be gracious and not gloat if the party wins the Delhi election.

"AAP supporters, IF we win, be gracious," said Dadlani, placing emphasis on "IF". "No gloating. AK (Arvind Kejriwal) will be Delhi's CM, not just ours."

Votes polled in Saturday's assembly election will be counted Tuesday. Exit polls have predicted a win for the Aam Aadmi Party, whose main rival was the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Dadlani, who campaigned for the AAP in Delhi, said: "I said this to RSS/BJP workers, now to AAP (people). Ideologies may differ but we love the same India. Be respectful in victory and defeat.

"Objectively, elections only decide who is writing our laws! Our
behaviour decides what kind of country we live in! Much more important!

"A lot of people may have said/done things to hurt us, during elections. IF AAP wins, we must return only love and inclusiveness."
