Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Salman Khan Chants Hanuman Chalisa In Larger Than Life Trailer

Darpan News Desk IANS, 18 Jun, 2015 01:43 PM
Helpful 'Bajrangi' has returned to his action avatar! The trailer of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, released on Thursday, shows the actor reciting the Hanuman Chalisa while embarking on an action-filled journey from India to Pakistan.

Showing Salman with tears in his eyes as he commences his odessey from India to Pakistan in this Kabir Khan directorial, the trailer features the actor's stunts, Kareena Kapoor Khan's ethnic Indian wear and the comic avatar of Nawazuddin Siddiqui -- all in all, the trailer is quite a visual delight.

The two-and-half minute video starts with Salman asking a little girl (Harshaali Malthotra) about her nationality. But since she can’t speak, Salman, as the innocent and “bhola bhala” Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi, fondly called as 'Bajrangi', remains unaware that she hails from Pakistan.

It’s only after the India-Pakistan cricket match that Pavan comes to know that the girl is a Pakistani. He is given orders to ferry her to Pakistan and Pavan being a Lord Hanuman devotee, decides to take her to Pakistan without any passport or visa.

The trailer sees Salman fighting all the odds to help the little girl reach her home safely, and features Kareena looking beautiful in her role of Rasika, a school teacher.

One also gets a glimpse of Kashmir.

Nawazuddin, who plays the role of a Pakistani reporter in the film, is likely to deliver yet another powerhouse performance with this film.

After Salman's fellow Khans Shah Rukh and Aamir promoted the first look of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” on Twitter, fans were anxiously awaiting its trailer. The buzz is also strong especially after the success of Kabir and Salman's last outing “Ek Tha Tiger”.

“Bajrangi Bhaijaan” is likely to release on July 18, on the occasion of Eid, which has always turned out to be a win-win situation for Salman at the box office.
