Ayushmann's 'Dream Girl 2' shifts its release date to June 23, 2023

Mumbai, Oct 20 (IANS) Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana's sequel to his 2019 hit 'Dream Girl' has set an early release date. The film, which also stars Ananya Panday, will now drop a week early in theatres on June 23, 2023.
The reason behind the move is to avert a clash with 'Satya Prem ki Katha', which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. 'Dream Girl 2' was supposed to be released on the same day as 'Satya Prem ki Katha' on June 29, 2023.
On learning that 'Satya Prem ki Katha', produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is slated to release on the same day, the producer of 'Dream Girl 2', Ektaa R Kapoor agreed to shift the date of 'Dream Girl 2' from June 29 to June 23, 2023.
The makers of 'Dream Girl 2' had recently dropped a teaser and announced the second instalment of the film.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann's recent film 'Doctor G' is garnering love from the audience. The actor again chose an off-beat role of a gynaecologist this time with 'Doctor G'.
Alia made her debut along with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the Karan Johar-directorial Student of the Year' which was released October 19, 2012.
The report is understood to have detailed how Aryan Khan was deliberately targeted in the entire affair, the shoddy manner in which the entire probe into the cruiser drugs case was done, with many shortcomings in the investigation perpetrated by the NCB officers assigned to the sensitive case - which grabbed global headlines in October 2021.
Featuring Hollywood's premier effects studio Mr. X, the Amar Kaushik directorial is touted to boast of exquisite visual effects. 'Bhediya' is written by National Award winner, Niren Bhatt. Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films present the film which is slated to release on November 25.
The actor further emphasised on his philosophy of maintaining a work-life balance and having a strong mindset of not mixing family and work. Pointing out that 'Vikram Vedha' marks Hrithik's 25th film as an actor, he was asked about his most favourite on screen character.
For the occasion, Alia chose a beautiful yellow ensemble while Ranbir donned a peach coloured Kurta and white pyjamas. The director of 'Brahmastra' - Ayan Mukerji too attended the event as he is very close to Ranbir, having worked with him in all his three directorials, so far.
According to media reports, Madhuri signed the conveyance deed with the seller, Calleis Land Development Private Limited, last month when she paid a stamp duty of Rs 2.4 crore.
