Ayushmann Khurrana Wants To Show His Muscles

Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 Aug, 2016 11:48 AM
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana says that he wants to show his muscles in films, an opportunity he says he has not got till now as he keeps getting realistic films.

Present at the launch of a smart-shirt for the fashion brand Arrow, during an interview, Ayushmann was asked who he would gift a smart T-shirt that can actually rip your muscles by the press of one chip?, he said, "That is for me. I don't get a character in any film where I have to show my muscles; I get those realistic films. 'Vicky Donor', 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', where there is no need to show muscles."

Ayushmann also did not get the chance to show muscles in films such as "Nautanki Saala" or "Hawaizaada" and it also seems that he won't get it in his upcoming films like "Manmarziyan" and "Meri Pyaari Bindu". He, though, had gone topless and showed his physique in the Sonam Kapoor-starrer "Bewakoofiyaan".

As part of the interaction, he was also asked if he had to gift another smart-shirt to someone, he said, "The thing is that I have never seen Ranveer (Singh) wearing a classic shirt. And he is very radical with his sense of style. He is amazing."

What about gifting a dress to someone who changes colours according to her moods? "I am working with Parineeti (Chopra) right now and recently we have been discovering her singing talent as well, so she is switching from acting to singing and the mood swings... acting and singing have to be in different moods, either you are lip-syncing or you are singing."

About singing with Parineeti in the film "Meri Pyaari Bindu", he said, "In fact we still have to sing it. You might have seen the video, we keep singing on the set. Parineeti is playing the singer's part in the film; I am the Bengali author in the film. But we will be also doing a duet in the film."

Ayushmann's last film "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" won numerous National Awards.
