Ayushmann Khurrana to perform at IIFA 2023 Yas Island awards spectacle

Mumbai, May 10 (IANS) Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who was most recently seen in 'An Action Hero', is set to perform at the IIFA Awards this year in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The International Indian Film Academy Awards, popularly known as IIFA, is returning for its 23rd edition on May 26 and 27 and will see the who's who of Bollywood in attendance with deserving artistes being honoured for their work in Hindi cinema for last year.
IIFA is the world's biggest celebration of Indian cinema and it is set to bring together the very best in music and entertainment under one roof.
For its 22nd edition, the Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer 'Shershaah' was conferred with the honour of Best Film with the event hosted by Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul.
The story is surrounded by supernatural incidents that took place after the murder of a woman whose sister tries to explain that she was killed by a demon but no one believes her. Later, she is also shown to be possessed by the demons.
Talking about the same, the actress told the media, "What a coincidence. It's amazing na? Even Nandini in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' was very very memorable. She ruled over people's heart and I'm so so thankful that I got to play Nandini then too. She had remained special to the audience and, of course, to me".
Sushmita, who essays the titular role, has won hearts with her performance in the previous seasons. The audience has been eagerly waiting to see what Aarya's next move will be, and with season 3, they will finally get their answer.
The VFX work is crucial for 'Dream Girl 2', as the film features Ayushmann Khurrana to play the role of Pooja and Karam. The makers want to ensure that he looks seamless and convincing as Pooja.
Pamela nee Singh, was ailing for a couple of weeks and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment where she breathed her last late morning. She is survived by her two sons - Aditya Chopra, film-maker who is married to actress Rani Mukherjee, and actor-producer Uday Chopra.
Apart from this, Sara will be seen in 'Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke' romantic drama film alongside Vicky Kaushal. She will also be seen in Karan Johar's next 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' in which she will play a brave freedom fighter in a fictional tale set against the backdrop of the Quit India Movement in 1942.
