Audience Has An Appetite For Everything: Swara Bhaskar

Darpan News Desk IANS, 19 Apr, 2016 12:21 PM
Actress Swara Bhaskar, who is all set for the release of her upcoming film "Nil Battey Sannata”, says the audience has an appetite for all kinds of content.

Asked if the content of "Nil Battey Sannata" will hit chords with the audience, Swara told IANS: "I think essentially the audience likes to be engaged in some way or the other. Somewhere the audience is changing. I think they have the appetite for everything. We all love masala entertainers lets not lie and kill ourselves, but essentially we like to be engaged."

"I think our film ('Nil Battey Sannata') offers that," added the "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" star.

Swara has also lablled the Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's directorial as a "very happy, fun and a funny film."

"Of course, it has great content. But who said great content should be boring or high philosophy and we have proven it by 'Munna Bhai', '3 Idiots' or 'PK' so I feel 'Nil Battey...' is very much in that category," she said.

The actress is currently busy promoting the film where she will be seen playing a role of a mother.

The family entertainer also features Ratna Pathak Shah and is slated to release on April 22.
