Actor Akshay Kumar has wished newly wed couple, actress Asin Thottumkal and electronics company Micromax founder Rahul Sharma, a happy married life, and said the duo are "made for each other".
 
Asin, who is a popular name in Bollywood and the southern film world, exchanged wedding vows with Sharma in a closely-guarded ceremony on Tuesday.
 
Akshay, who has worked with Asin in "Khiladi 786" and "Housefull 2", is said to have played Cupid between Asin and Rahul. The actor took to Twitter on Wednesday to congratulate them.
 
 
“Wishing the happy couple, Asin and Rahul a lifetime of love and adventures, indeed made for each other. Love and prayers always,” Akshay tweeted.
 
The couple married according to Christian rituals at the Dusit Devarana hotel here on Tuesday morning. Later in the night, a Hindu wedding ceremony took place, and Asin looked resplendent in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee customised lehenga.
