Aryan Khan all set for directorial debut with web series titled 'Stardom'

Mumbai, May 1 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan isn't interested in acting but has a knack for writing and direction. Aryan will make his directorial debut with an upcoming show titled 'Stardom'.
It will be a streaming show with 6 episodes and will be set against the backdrop of the film industry. The series is currently in its production stage.
It's being produced by Aryan's home production Red Chillies Entertainment owned by his father, who is fresh off the success of his blockbuster movie 'Pathaan'.
A few years back, while talking to chat show host David Letterman, SRK told him that Aryan isn't interested in building a career in acting more so because he has the towering achievements of his father to match-upto but he harbours dreams of being a director or a producer.
Apart from 'Stardom', Aryan Khan recently shot an ad film where he got to direct his father.
The character actor is best remembered by Hindi film fans for his role of a doctor in 'Anand' (1971), the Hrishikesh Mukherjee film starring Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan, and in Gulzar's 'Mere Apne' (1971), where Meena Kumari, Vinod Khanna and Shatrughan Sinha played the lead characters.
Bipasha played the role of a woman who is haunted by the spirit of her husband's lover, the glamorous diva set the tone for the rest of her career with this film. The Vikram Bhatt directorial became the second highest grossing film of 2002.
'The Fame Game' also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran and Suhasini Muley, Muskkaan Jaferi. The story revolves around Bollywood icon Anamika Anand, who has it all but is her life perfect or a perfectly crafted facade.
Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen is elated on being conferred the International Association of Working Women Award for an outstanding performance by a female actor in a TV series for her show 'Aarya 2'. The award is presented by the DC South Asian Film Festival (DCSAFF), which is currently underway virtually starting from January 16 to January 30.
