Arvind Kejriwal, Colleagues Watch Sonam Kapoor Starrer Neerja

Darpan News Desk IANS, 18 Feb, 2016 12:21 PM
  • Arvind Kejriwal, Colleagues Watch Sonam Kapoor Starrer Neerja
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal watched Sonam Kapoor starrer “Neerja” here along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas and actor-musician Shekhar Ravjiani among others.

The special screening of the film took place here at the Films Division Auditorium (FDA) on Wednesday.

“Neerja” is said to have caught the attention of Kejriwal because of its relevance to the national hero Neerja Bhanot who sacrificed her life while saving passengers on board a hijacked Pan Am flight 73, said a source.

The film, directed by Ram Madhvani, features Sonam in the lead role, and veteran actress Shabana Azmi plays her mother's role.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged, the film is slated to release on Friday.
