Actress Anushka Sharma launched Season Three of Support My School campaign which aims towards revitalising government schools by providing toilets, access to water, facility for sports and recreation and a clean environment.
 
The launch took place Thursday at a newly revitalised Sonkh Government Middle School, Nuh District, Haryana. 
 
The actress along with members who are supporting the campaign launched it in front of many students, teachers, principals and partners of various schools that have been revitalized under the campaign.
 
Anushka also took the opportunity to celebrate Children’s Day, that will take place Friday, with kids.
 
She also showed her "excitement" at associating with the entire initiative.
 
“I am very excited to be here today and celebrate Children’s Day in this particular school that has been revitalised by the Support My School Campaign. 
 
"We need more such initiatives that focus on students’ needs of clean water, proper sanitation, facilities for sports and libraries etc. - so that these students get a holistic and hygienic upbringing, just like we all did,” the actress said in a statement.
