Anushka Reveals The 'Best Part' Of Playing Mamta

IANS, 30 Aug, 2018 03:58 PM

Bollywood star Anushka Sharma has revealed the best part of playing Mamta in 'Sui Dhaaga' was that she used to be ready in 20 minutes flat.

The 30-year-old on Thursday shared an exciting behind-the-scenes video in which she can be seen getting ready for her role. In the clip, she also disclosed that filmmaker Aditya Chopra, among others, were not too sure if she would be able to "look like you belong in that world."

However, the 'PK' star stated she "never" had a doubt. "Not even for a second I thought that I couldn't look the part," she added. "When I say I had no make-up in the film, I literally mean this was the easiest getting ready process for me," said the 'Zero' star. Anushka captioned the video as, "The best part of playing Mamta? I was ready in 20 minutes flat! Watch what went into getting Mamta's look right."

Directed by Sharat Katatria and produced by Yash Raj Films, 'Sui Dhaaga' also stars Varun Dhawan. Anushka and Varun, who have come together for the first time on-screen, beautifully portray a heartwarming story of pride and self reliance while taking the message of 'Made in India' forward.

The film is all set to hit the big screens on September 28.
