Veteran actor Anupam Kher met the country's next prime minister Narendra Modi here, and hailed his "dynamism and patriotism".

Anupam met Modi at Gujarat Bhavan Monday, he shared via his Twitter page and even posted a photograph of their meeting.

"Wonderful to meet our future Prime Minister Narendra Modi-ji at Gujarat Bhavan. Jai Ho to his dynamism and patriotism," tweeted the actor, whose wife Kirron Kher won a Lok Sabha seat as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Chandigarh.

She won with over 42 percent votes, and Anupam was by his wife's side during the poll campaign.
