Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was on Tuesday bestowed honorary life membership of the city's famed soccer outfit Mohammedan Sporting which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year.
 
Sporting president and Lok Sabha member Sultan Ahmed handed over the club's life membership to Amitabh, who spent the day shooting for the film "Teen" at the club ground, tent and the gallery.
 
He also invited Amitabh to be the chief guest of the club's 125th anniversary gala event to be held later this year, and a club statement said the Bollywood legend accepted the invitation and said he will be present then.
