Actress Alia Bhatt plants a kiss on Shahid Kapoor's cheek in the first look of "Shaandaar", which spells love and romance.
 
Producer Karan Johar on Wednesday unveiled the film's first official look. It features Shahid, looking smart in a leather jacket and a beard, while holding the quirkily dressed Alia, who is seen planting a kiss on her co-star's cheek. Shahid is all smiles in the poster of the film, which is directed by Vikas Bahl of "Queen" fame.
 
Karan tweeted: "And here it is!!!!! #Shaandaarfirstlook @shahidkapoor and @aliaa08 like never before!!!
 
 
Even the newly married Shahid shared: "And the Shaandaar journey begins....#Shaandaarfirstlook", while Alia shared: "AND we are up!!!!This Dussehra make it SHAANDAAR !! @shahidkapoor #ShaandaarFirstLook #SHAANDAARonDUSSEHRA."
 
Just a day before, the filmmaker had shared a teaser poster, featuring Shahid and Alia against the backdrop of a romantic view. While Alia was seen sleeping on a wooden bench, Shahid is leaning his head on her elbow. An airplane is seen leaving a vapour trail depicting two hearts.
 
The two hearts are also seen in the first look, suggesting that the movie will be truly a romantic one at heart.
 
Its trailer will be out on August 11.
