Bollywood's young star Alia Bhatt has come out to support her senior colleague Deepika Padukone on her "lovely" initiative to spread awareness about mental health.

Deepika, who has personally battled depression, has come out with an NGO "Live Love Laugh", which will deal with the issue of mental health.

Alia says it's the right way to go.

“#TheLiveLoveLaughFoundation is such a lovely initiative. A look at the home page and you'll feel secure and safe! Way to go @deepikapadukone,” Alia tweeted.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday launched the NGO here. Actress Shraddha Kapoor also took to Twitter to laud Deepika's initiative.

She posted: “Congratulations for this amazing initiative @deepikapadukone”.
