Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who has played a soldier and police officer often on screen, has lauded a Mumbai police constable for saving a woman's life with his swift reaction.
 
Akshay posted a 21-second clip on his Twitter account. The clip shows a woman running to catch a train and she suddenly slips in this pursuit, but the constable comes to her rescue immediately.
 
The actor captioned the video: "Had my heart in my mouth literally! Salute to constable Pawan Tayde of Lonavala police station for his presence of mind and swift action."
 
The 49-year-old has been verbal about appreciating good deeds of public servants.
