Akshay Kumar Sends Birthday Wishes To Anupam Kher

Darpan News Desk, 06 Mar, 2017 11:49 AM
Actor Akshay Kumar has wished his colleague Anupam Kher "happiest birthday" with a special message.

While wishing Kher -- who will turn 61 on Tuesday -- Akshay looked back at some of the films they have done together.

He tweeted: "A team that eats together stays together... From Team 'Baby' to now team 'Naam Shabana', Happiest birthday to our Shukla ji Anupam Kher."

Kher had a pre-birthday party with the team of "Naam Shabana" -- which also stars Taapsee Pannu and Danny Denzongpa.

Touched by the gesture, the veteran actor responded with a post which read: "Thank you my friends for celebrating my birthday one day in advance. It is wonderful to be part of team 'Naam Shabana'. Love you all."

Akshay and Kher have worked together in many movies, including "Special 26", "The Shaukeens", "Heyy Babyy" and "Jaan-E-Mann".

And they will be back again on the big screen with "Naam Shabana". The film is a spin-off based on Taapsee's character in the 2015 film "Baby", based on undercover agents who prevented terrorist attacks from taking place in India.

The new movie talks about how she became an undercover agent and also unleashes her raw action side with a new secret mission. The film is slated for release on March 31.

Kher and Akshay will also be seen in "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha", which is said to be their 20th film together.
