Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Is Taking Cannes By Storm. Check Out Her Gorgeous Dress

  • Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Is Taking Cannes By Storm. Check Out Her Gorgeous Dress

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looks every bit a summery beauty in her sheer green dress at the Cannes Film Festival.

Aishwarya arrived in Cannes on Friday morning with her daughter Aaradhya and spent the day getting ready for her first outing. L’Oreal Paris, the brand she is representing this year, posted a gorgeous photo of her on Twitter.

The actor was welcomed to the Frech Riviera with a bouquet of roses, it seems. Her adorable 5-year-old daughter posed for the paparazzi -- outside their hotel in Cannes and as they were leaving for the Mumbai airport -- just like her mom does on the red carpet, hand to her waist and all.

Aishwarya will represent L’Oreal again as their brand ambassador this year at red carpet film screenings on Friday and Saturday. She has been a regular at the film festival for several years.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will also revisit an old Cannes connection - on May 20, she will present her 2002 film Devdas on the sidelines of the festival, 15 years after she first represented the film at Cannes.

Speaking to news agency AFP about her favourite Cannes moment, Aishwarya said, "My first experience was truly memorable and exceedingly special. We always heard how the duration of our cinema can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for the audience beyond (our) shores and Devdas by that measure is a long film."
