 Megastar Amitabh Bachchan got a hug of appreciation from his daughter-in-law and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after watching the special screening of his film “Shamitabh”.
 
The screening of the R. Balakrishnan directorial, which took place here Thursday, was attended by the Bachchan family including Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan along with Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, who also star in "Shamitabh".
 
In the photographs of the event, which Amitabh posted on his official blog srbachchan.tumblr.com, Aishwarya is seen giving a hug to her father-in-law.
 
Beneath the photograph, the 72-year-old wrote: “The appreciation of the daughter in law after the film is over.”
 
It hit the screens Friday.
