'Airlift' producer promises 'exciting announcement' next week

Darpan News Desk IANS, 08 Nov, 2015 02:07 PM
  • 'Airlift' producer promises 'exciting announcement' next week
Adding to the anticipation over “Airlift”, the film's producer Nikkhil Advani has asked all the moviegoers looking forward to the Akshay Kumar-starrer to fasten their seat belts and gear up for a touchdown. Advani says he will be making an “exciting announcement” in the coming week about the forthcoming film.

The filmmaker took to Twitter to update his fans and followers about the movie, which also features Nimrat Kaur.

“Fans of @akshaykumar @NimratOfficial asking about #AirliftFirstLook, wait for exciting announcement coming up next week. @AirliftFilm,” Advani shared on Sunday.

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, "Airlift" is said to be based on the Indians who were stuck in Kuwait during the Gulf War. The first look of the film shows Akshay in a professional look in a white suit, while Nimrat is perched next to him in a scarlet satin ensemble.

Last month, Nimrat posted about the film's final schedule in Jaisalmer with a tweet: “Traffic jams of the desert kind...En route Jaisalmer for the final schedule of #Airlift !! All on board.”
