After 10 years in cinema, Alia promises to 'be better, dream deeper'

Mumbai, Oct 19 (IANS) Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, whose 'Brahmastra' did wonders at the box-office, completed 10 years in cinema on Wednesday.
Alia made her debut along with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the Karan Johar-directorial Student of the Year' which was released October 19, 2012. She played the role of a college student in the film, who finds herself stuck in the love triangle.
Taking to her Instagram, Alia, who is expecting her first child, shared a picture of herself. She wrote in the caption, "10 years today and I am so so grateful .. EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! I promise to be better - dream deeper - work harder !!!!! Thank you for the magic. Love love and only love (sic)".
Alia's mother, Soni Razdan wrote in the comments section, "Congratulations darling and wish you many more such active happy productive years ahead."
Ranveer Singh, who worked with Alia in the Zoya Akhtar directorial 'Gully Boy' commented, "Lucky to have been a small part of this journey with you. More love, more life, more blessings."
Earlier in the day, filmmaker-producer Karan Johar also took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the completion of 10 years of his 'students'.
Sharing an array of pictures with Alia, Sidharth and Varun, KJo wrote in the caption, "Down the years with my students of every year! So proud of their cinema journey! It's no Raaz(I) that they have mastered the ABCD of their craft and emerged as Shershaahs of goodness and talent! Love you."
The biopic, titled "Padma Shri Kaur Singh’, has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement. The long-forgotten boxing legend, who was the only boxer in India to have entered the ring against boxing legend Muhammad Ali, once again came into the limelight-all thanks to the film.
Based on Dutch drama series Penoza, the crime thriller revolves around Aarya (Sushmita), who joins a mafia gang and turns into a don to take revenge for her husband's murder. The show's lead actor said: "It is a new dawn for Aarya Sareen, and she is fierce. In Season 3, she is going places and starting her own story free from the obstacles of her past."

Alia and Ranbir's friends from the industry such as Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra, Rakul Preet Singh, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Tiger Shroff and Mouni Roy among many others took to the comment section to congratulate the couple. Alia and Ranbir met on the sets of 'Brahmastra' in 2018 and fell in love. The two got married in April 14.
From 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' to the blockbuster of the year, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', T-Series and Kartik Aaryan have given the audiences some of the biggest successes and are all set to unite for 'Shehzada' too. Celebrating the historic success of their latest, Bhushan gifted the car to Kartik as a token of appreciation and gratitude.
The lyrics were: "Moose Wala naam dilan ute likheya, bhai khasa jor lag ju mituan vaaste" (Moose Wala's name has been written on heart, and it would not be easy to erase." A sea of people were seen cheering for Diljit as he mentioned Moosewala's name.
