  • Aamir-acle Again: PK enters 100 Cr club in just 4 days
Though some of the die hard fans of Mr Perfectionist may not feel very contended with the news which we are about to reveal about PK's collection, obviously because of the high expectations which they fostered before its release. But finally the moment has arrived for which they were eagerly waiting. Yes you perceived it right we are talking about PK's entering into 100 crore club.

After receiving a somewhat discontenting response initially, where it could only earn Rs 26.63 Cr from the ticket window at its release, PK took four days to the enter the elite club of Bollywood.

But eventually because of good word of mouth publicity, the business of this Aamir Khan starrer took off. And in next two days it earned Rs 29.50 crore,Rs 37 crore respectively and neared the Rs 100 crore mark.

However, over the years it is seen that even the biggest releases fall prey to "Monday Drop" and show a significant drop in collections on the following Monday. But in case of 'PK' nothing of that sort happened where it continued to maintain its momentum and made a Rs 22.40 crores on day four and conveniently entered the elite league with a good 117.61 crores rupees in its bag.

With PK entering in the 100 Crore club within 4 days of its release this Aamir starrer has also surpassed the opening weekend collection records set by Kick, Bang Bang, Singham Returns and Jai Ho which made it to the elite club in 5 days (first three) and 10 days respectively. And this sprint at ticket window made 'PK' the second fastest 100 crore achiever of 2014.

Besides it's Aamir's fourth film in a row after '3 Idiots', 'Talaash' and 'Dhoom 3' which has made it to the royal ilk of Bollywood.
