Superstar Aamir Khan has wished the best for the two-time Oscar Award winner A.R. Rahman, who is making his debut as producer and scriptwriter with the film "99 Songs".

Aamir has worked with the musical maestro for films like "Rangeela", "Lagaan", "Mangal Pandey: The Rising" and "Ghajini". The "Dangal" star has also appreciated the poster of the upcoming Rahman film.

"Great poster AR! Wishing you all the very best for the start of the shoot. May the force be with you. Love, A," Aamir tweeted on Thursday night.

The poster of the film, which was shared on Facebook on Thursday, features a couple hanging onto a piano which is suspended from the sky.

Rahman captioned the image: "With your support and good wishes, I'm pleased to share my movie's first poster!"

The poster reads: "A.R. Rahman presents '99 Songs'". The film, directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, is slated to release in 2017.
