A Sure-Shot Success Mantra: Shahid To Do Another South Film Remake

Darpan News Desk IANS, 28 Jun, 2019 11:06 PM

Shahid Kapoor is making headlines as his recent release Kabir Singh is creating quite a buzz for both the right as well as wrong reasons.

However, the movie has been a huge success at the box office and it touched Rs 100 crores on Wednesday.

Kabir Singh is the remake of Arjun Reddy and while this was a first for Shahid, it looks like the actor is all set to star in the remake of another South Indian film, to be produced by Karan Johar.

Jersey, starring actor Nani, was a super-hit film, helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The movie is a sports drama where Nani plays a cricketer, who gives up on sports after an unfortunate event.

Karan Johar has got the rights of the Telegu movie to be remade in Hindi and most likely Shahid will be playing the lead in it. Jersey released in April this year and did wonders at the box office. Well, looks like Shahid is already onto his next super-hit.
