Bollywood celebrities like Mahesh Bhatt and Javed Akhtar have expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of union Minister for Rural Development and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Gopinath Munde in Delhi Tuesday.
 
Munde, 64, an important figure in Maharashtra politics, was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International Airport when his Maruti Suzuki SX4 car was hit by a Tata Indica at Aurobindo Marg in south Delhi around 6.20 a.m., police said.
 
The tinsel town remembers him as “leader” and an “inspiring gentleman”. Here's what the celebrities posted on Twitter:
