'A Flying Jatt' is my most challenging film : Tiger Shroff

Darpan News Desk IANS, 06 Aug, 2016 02:57 PM
Actor Tiger Shroff, who has performed daredevilry in films like "Heropanti" and "Baaghi", says he used cables for the first time for stunts in "A Flying Jatt". He feels it's an art to perform action with cables.

"'A Flying Jatt' is my most challenging film and I am very happy that Remo (D'Souza) sir has given me this challenge and that he let me become his superhero," Tiger said here.

"There was a lot of preparation for the action and the character. We are trying to show a different kind of action and this is the first time I have used cable work. I used to think that 'I can do stunts, I don't need to do cables'.

"But when I actually used some cables for the first time, I realised that it is an art in itself. It is very difficult to maintain one's body language on cables, so it is not easy being a superhero," Tiger said at the launch of the song "Beat pe booty".

"A Flying Jatt" will see Tiger in the role of a superhero who deals with several weaknesses which create comical moments.

"I have done action in my past two films and here I got the chance to tap into some humorous action. So that is a very difficult genre to express.

"But thanks to my director, who was very clear, and who told me exactly what I needed to do... That made my job easier. Hats off to legends like Jackie Chan, who make it all look so easy," he added.

Tiger takes on "Mad Max: Fury Road" villain Nathan Jones in some intense action sequences in the film.

Of that, he said: "Whenever I used to fight with Nathan Jones, it used to be very difficult for me, but an experience."

"A Flying Jatt", which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, releases on August 25.
