Amit Tandon's 'Good Night India' gets an extension of 24 episodes

Mumbai, April 26 (IANS) TV show 'Good Night India' is getting an extension as the makers have planned 24 more episodes owing to its popularity in the Indian households.
Comic artiste Amit Tandon, who made his debut on the small screens with the show is thrilled at the response to his show. In addition, it also achieved a rare feat of getting over hundred comedians on board.
Speaking on this, the comedian says, "We started 'Good Night India' with the aim of entertaining the audiences with a light-hearted family comedy show, and got lucky and feel humbled with the kind of response that we are getting for it."
As an entertainer, he is over the moon having witnessed such success as the show has clicked at large with its audience.
"Thrilled that the audience is connecting with the show on such a massive level, longing for more episodes. This is the best feeling! More laughter-filled episodes of 'Good Night India' on the way, fellas! Stay tuned", he added.
Amit Tandon is best known for 'Chalo Koi Baat Nahi', 'Comedy Premium League' and 'Comedians of the World'. 'Good Night India' is a flagship show of Sony Sab TV.
For 'Songs Of The Earth', the musician will join forces with Indian illustrators Anjali Kamath and Sachin Bhatt -- who also created the artwork for Datta's 2019 EP Jangal -- and Earth Day Network India to create an animated film that aims to disrupt, provoke and challenge the unacceptable wreckage of our planet's environmental health through animation and contemporary music.
Although the song doesn't fall in the category of rap, it bears a similarity with that genre of music in the sense that rap requires continuous singing, almost without a break.
Singer Jonita Gandhi has come up with her latest Punjab single "Mera jee karda". "I really enjoy singing in Punjabi, so I had fun singing Mera jee karda. It's one of my first independent releases in Punjabi and I hope people react well to my voice in this song," Jonita said.
The music video of rapper Badshah and singer Aastha Gill's latest track "Paani paani'', featuring Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez, has crossed a 100-million views on YouTube.
Singer Shaan is set to release a new song to mark Father's Day on June 20. The track titled "Tera hissa hoon" tells the story of a father-son relationship.
