Ali Abbas Zafar directs Diljit Dosanjh's next song 'Void'

Mumbai, Sep 7 (IANS) Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is shooting with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar for his new track 'Void', which is part of his new album titled 'Moon Child Era'.
So far, the videos of tracks 'Lover' and 'Black and White' have been released from the album.
Diljit said: "It is no less than an honour to have collaborated with Ali for this project. In fact, given that the songs and the entire album are so close to me, I am glad to see how the shoot of 'Void' has turned out."
"I am extremely pumped for everyone to see the work and I hope the videos receive as much love as the songs have," Diljit added.
An official announcement on the release date of 'Void' is expected soon as the shoot is complete.
Meanwhile, Diljit will also be seen in a yet-untitled film helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar which is based on the anti-Sikh riots of 1984.
Singer Jonita Gandhi has come up with her latest Punjab single "Mera jee karda". "I really enjoy singing in Punjabi, so I had fun singing Mera jee karda. It's one of my first independent releases in Punjabi and I hope people react well to my voice in this song," Jonita said.
The music video of rapper Badshah and singer Aastha Gill's latest track "Paani paani'', featuring Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez, has crossed a 100-million views on YouTube.
Singer Shaan is set to release a new song to mark Father's Day on June 20. The track titled "Tera hissa hoon" tells the story of a father-son relationship.
The romantic track has been recorded in the voices of Gurnazar Chattha and Asees Kaur, on Gurnazar's lyrics and composition. The video is about romance blooming between a young boy and a girl at a Punjabi wedding, and features Jasmin with Gurnazar.
Twitter has restricted four accounts in India -- including that of Punjabi rapper-songwriter Jazzy B -- in compliance with the legal request made by the Indian government, according to data from the US-based collaborative archive Lumen Database.
