Jasneet Nijjar has been an exceptional sprinter. She worked hard not only in athletics but academics too. She’s involved in the community and inspiring young female athletes. She is the First South Asian female to represent Canada in track and field team at the Paris 2024 Olympics. She currently plays for the Washington State Cougars. She trained locally with coach Jessie Dosanjh with the Universal Athletics Club in Surrey. Some of her other accolades include Female athlete of the year, Paris 2024 Olympian, Sassy award, USTFCCCA-All Academic , 2019-2024 PAC 12 academic honor roll, and 2019-2024 WSU President’s honor roll fall and spring.
